Responding to false alarms costs the City of Deer Park thousands of dollars every year. These unnecessary responses result in an enormous burden in labor to our EMS, Fire and Police First Responders and reduces the time available for them to respond to real emergencies. To address this issue, the City of Deer Park has a contract with CentralSquare Technologies, LLC (doing business as the Deer Park False Reduction Program) to provide false alarm tracking and invoicing services. The Deer Park Police Department is responsible for program oversight and enforces the City's Alarm Ordinance.
